Clinton Giles is a fine art photographer, focusing on the movement of water in his seascapes and the expansive nature of the rural landscape. Clinton grew up in Peterborough, South Australia, where he developed a love for the ruggedness of the country, the tranquillity of its calm pace and the open spaces it provides.

Clinton developed a passion for photography while watching his Nan take family photos and then seeing her turn those images into photo albums for future generations to enjoy.

Consequently, at a very early age, Clinton started out borrowing his mother’s kodak point and shoot film camera, his early images being mostly trains and animals. While he sometimes nostalgically takes out the film camera for, he is now digital cameras. 

Because of the ever-changing colours in the landscape and the coastline and the feelings this invokes, Clinton engages primarily with the natural space surrounding us. However, Clinton is still photographing planes and trains!
